The service
OriginCert is a watermarking and provenance tool operated by Wild Thistle Moon LLC. The service includes a free tier (10 lifetime stamps, browser-side watermarking) and a Creator subscription tier that unlocks stamping with no 10-stamp cap, invisible watermarking, and the image registry. Creator accounts are subject to a fair-use ceiling that exists to prevent abuse rather than to limit normal work. If your usage approaches it, email hello@wildthistlemoon.com and we will raise it.
Subscription terms
Creator subscriptions are $12 per month, billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us; your subscription will remain active through the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. Pricing may change with at least 30 days' notice.
Acceptable use
You agree to use OriginCert only for images you have the right to publish. You will not use the service to claim ownership of, or fraudulently sign, images that are not yours. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the registry.
Your content
You retain all intellectual property rights in the images you stamp. We claim no ownership over your work. By using the service, you grant Wild Thistle Moon LLC a limited license to process your images solely to provide the watermarking, signing, and verification features you request.
Service availability
OriginCert is provided on an as-is basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from service interruptions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
